The Gangotri Trail

This fascinating trail takes us into the beautiful Garhwal Himalayas also known as Dev Bhoomi of the Land of Gods.  Gangotri is a sacred site among all Hindus where it is believed that the River Ganga came cascading down to earth from the heavens. Further north is the true source of the River the glaciated snout of Gaumukh from where the river flows down to the plains.
