Day 1: On Arrival at Mumbai International Airport you are met by our representative and transferred to your pre- reserved hotel. After settling down and lunch we take you on a half day tour of this vibrant city which seems to never sleep. Mumbai's imposing skyline is recognizable from the sea by the ancient architecturally delightful frontage of the Taj Mahal Hotel. Visit Malabar Hill, offering a panoramic view of Marine drive & Chowpatty Beach , Prince of Wales Museum , Dhobi Ghat, Gateway of India and drive through the Crawford market, Marine drive & Flora Fountain. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Catch the early morning flight to Trivandrum (Thiruvanthanapuram) a port city with some of the most beautiful beaches in the west coast of India. Transfer to your beach side hotel at Kovalam Beach 16 Kms from the city and check in. Spend your day at leisure on the golden beaches just outside your hotel or take a short city tour once the home of the Maharaja of Travancore. The city still has old palaces like the Kuthiramalika Palace Museum built by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma - the King of Travancore, a great poet, musician, social reformer and statesman. Exquisite workmanship in the traditional Travancore style of architecture displays fine wood carvings. The palace museum houses paintings and other precious collections of the royalty. Have lunch at a restaurant offering a variety of traditional curries and vegetables and later ramble around the narrow streets of Chalai Market and its fresh vegetable stalls. Here you can also pick up some knick-knacks before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 3: After an early breakfast head to India's Land's End, Cape Comerin or better known as Kanyakumari the point where the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet. Spectacular sunsets and sunrises can be seen from here. We take time to visit the renowned Padmanabhapuram Palace - India's largest wooden palace showcasing delicate carvings and excellent workmanship. Then head to the Sucheendram Temple containing a priceless collection of art from different historical periods. We return to land's end and visit the massive Rock Temple from where you get to witness one of the most memorable sunsets in your life. Return to Kovalam and your hotel for the night. Get a rejuvenating Ayurvedic Massage before dinner.

Day 4: At dawn we check out after a wholesome breakfast and drive 86 Kms to Kollam and board a 'Kettuvallom' or traditional houseboat for a short backwater cruise to Kayamkulam Lake where we anchor for the night. These graceful boats locally called 'Kettuvallom' plying the backwaters of Kerala were traditionally used for transportation of merchandise primarily rice from the interior villages to the towns. Today these have been converted into tastefully furnished houseboats using eco friendly material like bamboo, coir and coconut fibre, offering visitors a leisurely holiday gliding across enchanting waterways occasionally passing tiny villages with the cool backwater breezes soothing you.

Day 5: Today after a luxurious breakfast we proceed on these charming backwaters with tiny neat villages on the banks to the town of Allepey (Allappuzha) where we reach by early afternoon. We take off to visit this ancient town. In the afternoon stroll around the crowded Mullakkal Street where you can see numerous shops selling gold, fascinating cotton clothing and an astonishing variety of fresh fruit and vegetables. If you're up to it, visit the ancient temple of Mannarassala - a snake temple belonging to one family for the past three thousand years and where a woman is the chief priest. Return to the houseboat by late evening.

Day 6: Take a short morning boat ride to experience the rich wildlife that the region sustains.

After breakfast drive 197 Kms to the hill town of Munnar at an altitude of 1524 meters. The road winds past gurgling streams, low flying clouds and mist filled valleys with lush green tea plantations at an altitude of Look out for the Nilgiri Thar, a rare mountain goat, the Gaur (Indian Bison), Langoor (black faced species of monkey), Lion-tailed Monkey and Sambhar (four antlered deer). On reaching Munnar check into your pre-reserved hotel.

Day 7: Leisurely day at Munnar where we take on a sightseeing tour of the Raja Malai, a tall peak and then to the expansive Muttupetty dam where you can a boat ride amidst spectacular surroundings. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 8: Today leaving the bracing breezes and invigorating air of beautiful Munnar we head to the laidback town of Cochin (Ernakulam) 174 Kms northwest. On arrival we check you in to your pre-reserved hotel. Most of the buildings and houses are built in the Portuguese, Dutch and British styles. Visit the Jewish Synagogue built in 1568 AD, and the striking Dutch Palace. Take a stroll around Fort Cochin with its numerous colonial buildings and houses. Later view the unusual Chinese fishing nets brought in from China in the 15th century and still in use. In the evening watch a mesmerising performance of Kathakali - the classical Kerala dance form. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 9 : Take the morning flight from Cochin to Mumbai . On arrival at Mumbai check into your pre-reserved hotel. Spend you entire day at leisure or take a guided tour of this bustling metropolis also known as the financial centre of India. Return to your hotel for dinner after which we take you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
